This is a picture of the Southern Traditions catalog for our fundraiser.Our Fall Fundraiser started on September 28th and ends October 17th.  Students were given packets of information and catalogs after our kick-off event.  Please note that all orders must be pre-paid, cash and/or checks made payable to Armstrong Elementary School.  We also have a way to place orders online, directions are included in the student information packet.  We are giving away 10 daily prizes, beginning October 2.  As soon as you have sold at least 3 items, please return your drawing slip to the front office to be entered.  There will also be cash prizes too!  See your packet for more details!  Thank you for your support of our school!

Trying different things can appear challenging such as being a new student at a school or taking a class for the first time. You have to be patient when introducing new things. Cumberland County Public Library & Information Center Summer Reading Program

“Build a Better World” is the theme of the Cumberland County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program.  The program runs from June 1 to August 15.  Kids who register for the program will receive a prize for reading 5 hours, 10 hours, and 20 hours.  Teens and adults can also register and win prizes.  So either sign up online at http://www.cumberland.lib.nc.us/ or stop by your local branch.
