This image represents the NC Science Festival.Armstrong is excited to announce our Duke Energy Science Night on March 8. Pizza, chips, and drinks will be offered starting at 5:00. The money will go towards our Science Olympiad Team and the school’s new STEAM Room.  The free Science stations will run from 5:30-7:30. Join us in exploring science, technology, engineering and mathematics through engaging hands-on activities such as Magnetic Painting, Boat Builders, and Air Power. We welcome students and families for a night of science and fun! 

Duke Energy Science Nights are an initiative of the North Carolina Science Festival. The North Carolina Science Festival is now a month-long celebration of science that occurs every April. Cumberland County Schools sign that reads, Collaborate-Compete-Succeed
The Cumberland County Board of Education has hired the North Carolina School Boards Association (NCSBA) to help facilitate its search for the next superintendent of the Cumberland County Schools (CCS). The Board wants direct input from members of the community to help shape the search process and to assist in defining the qualities and characteristics desired in the next CCS’ superintendent.
